The Neoregelia ‘Rustic’ brings earthy charm with its deep bronze to burgundy tones, often layered with faint speckles or subtle banding depending on the light. Its foliage forms a tight, symmetrical rosette with a central “cup” that turns vivid red when the plant is ready to bloom—adding a dramatic pop of color. • 💧 Water: Fill the central leaf cup with clean water and flush it regularly to avoid stagnation. Keep the soil lightly moist, never soggy. Reduce watering in cooler months.
• 🌡 Temperature & Humidity: Thrives in warm, humid environments (60–85°F). Keep protected from frost and cold drafts. Perfect for indoor settings with moderate humidity.
• 🌱 Soil: Use a well-draining mix, such as orchid bark, coco coir, or a specialty bromeliad blend. Neoregelias don’t like sitting in wet soil.
• 🌸 Growth & Features: Non-toxic to pets and safe for indoor use. Typically reaches 6–12 inches in height and width. The plant will eventually flower from the center, after which it will produce pups (baby plants) before slowly declining—ready for propagation!
• 🌿 Potting Tips: Keep slightly snug in its pot. Repot pups into small containers once they are about 1/3 the size of the parent.
