To help ensure every plant arrives healthy and in excellent condition, we follow a carefully developed packing process that has been refined through years of shipping live plants across the United States. Because of this, we're unable to modify our standard shipping method by sending plants bare root.

Each plant is securely packed in its pot using custom, handmade wooden supports that keep it stable throughout its journey. Our protective packing system is specifically designed around potted plants, helping to reduce movement during transit and protect the foliage from damage. We also intentionally use spacious boxes to minimize the risk of bent or broken leaves.

While shipping plants bare root may seem like a way to reduce shipping costs, it can place additional stress on the plant and requires a completely different packing process. To provide every plant with the best possible chance of arriving safely and ready to thrive, we consistently ship our plants in their pots using our proven packaging methods.

We completely understand wanting to see the exact plant before purchasing. However, because we offer a large and constantly changing inventory of live plants, we're generally unable to provide individual photos of plants from our regular inventory before shipment. Taking and managing individual photos for every request would significantly delay order processing and shipping. For customers who prefer to choose their exact plant, we offer a special collection called "One of a Kind." These listings feature photos of the exact plant you will receive, allowing you to purchase with complete confidence and no surprises. For all other listings identified as "Next Available in Inventory," we carefully select a healthy, high-quality plant that closely matches the photos, size, and description shown on the product page. Since every plant is a unique living specimen, natural variations in shape, size, color, and growth are to be expected. Our goal is to provide every customer with beautiful, healthy plants while ensuring orders are prepared and shipped as efficiently as possible.

It depends on the specific plant and its current stage of growth. Some plants may arrive with flowers or flower spikes, while others may not. Flowering is a natural process influenced by factors such as the season, the plant's maturity, and growing conditions.

Our product photos are intended to showcase the beauty and characteristics of each variety, including its flowers when in bloom. Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, the presence of flowers in the photos does not guarantee that the plant you receive will be blooming at the time of delivery.

If you purchase a "One of a Kind" plant, you will receive the exact specimen shown in the photos. However, because flowers are naturally short-lived and live plants experience the normal stresses of shipping, blooms may fade or finish before or during transit. This is a normal part of the plant's natural growth cycle and is not an indication of poor health.

The approximate size of each plant is listed in the product description whenever possible. Since every plant is a living specimen, slight variations in height, width, and overall shape are completely natural. Most of our listings also include the pot size, which provides a helpful reference for the plant's stage of growth. Depending on the variety, measurements may refer to the plant's approximate height, width, or overall size at the time the listing was created. If you purchase a "One of a Kind" plant, the photos show the exact specimen you will receive. For products listed as "Next Available in Inventory," the dimensions provided are approximate, and the individual plant you receive may vary slightly in size and appearance while remaining representative of the listing. If you have any questions about the size of a particular plant before placing your order, we're always happy to help.

"Next Available in Inventory" means you will receive another healthy, high-quality plant of the same variety as the one shown in the listing, rather than the exact specimen pictured. The photos are intended to represent the typical quality and appearance of the plants we currently have available. Before shipping, we carefully inspect and select each plant to ensure it meets our quality standards. We do our best to keep our product photos as current as possible. However, because live plants are constantly growing and many sell quickly, it's not always possible to update every listing each time an individual plant is sold.
